Exchange rates suck!

Oh my goodness England is expensive! It's crazy enough with our dollar equaling two of theirs without me having the background I have. I've just come from Asia where one USD goes up to 16,000 of their money! It's like dirt cheap there, and of all places I go to England next. Sigh.

So far it is $7.50 per gallon of gas! Yikes! Although, California isn't too far behind! They add their tax into all the prices. Their tax is about 17%! And I thought an 8% tax was bad in Monterey!
